India: Adnan Sami Khan received the highest civilian award, the Padma Shri

 India presented the Padma Shri Award to the famous musician and singer Adnan Sami Khan.

President Ram Nath Kavand presented him with the award during a presentation at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Monday.

Apart from them, Indian actress Kangana Ranaut was also honored with the award.

Other Padma Shri winners include Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor and late singer SB Palaspramanyam.

Upon receiving the award, Kangana Ranaut said that the award is her own. He also congratulated Karan Johar on receiving the award.

In an interview with India Today TV, Kangana Ranaut said, “I think he deserves this award. The films he makes as a producer, whether they are Caesar or good news, are great. His father showed him the way at first but we have come to this place for your efforts and skills.”

Kangana Ranaout said that he had traveled from a small town in Himachal Pradesh, and it was very good that he was on the list of people like Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor.
