Hello and welcome back to LIVE LIVE of the match between Milan and Juventus, a challenge valid for the first leg of the Italian Cup 2021/22 of women's football. Tenth meeting ever between the two teams:  the Rossoneri no longer won after the 3-0 debut in 2018, suffering six defeats and drawing only twice. The last crossing took place last January in the Italian Super Cup Final, with the Old Lady winning 2-1.

Milan returns to the field after the surprise draw at home against Napoli Women 1-1:  Maurizio Ganz's team, like Inter defeated at home against Pomigliano, failed to take advantage of Sassuolo's stop against Lazio to enter the top3. After winning their round of the Italian Cup in front of Cittadella and Hellas Verona, Milan won 8-2 overall in the quarter-finals against Sampdoria.

Juventus returns to the field after the defeat suffered in Empoli and the 1-1 home draw against Roma which saw the Giallorossi approaching -3 from Madama and the top. The bianconere, who have just renewed Valentina Cernoia 's contract until 2024, reached the semifinals by defeating 2-1 in total against Inter and winning the group in front of Bari and Roma. The Old Lady is also preparing for the challenges against Napoli and Lyon in the Champions League.
