The replay of the drama in Pakistan began in mid-June, and many unfinished dramas were completed in this way.

These four months have caused great dissatisfaction among those involved in the drama industry who work at the locations of these dramas for a daily salary.

However, 2020 will certainly be remembered in the sense that Pakistan's electronic media regulator (PEMRA) has tried to play its role a little harder this year by banning three TV dramas instead of one or two. On the other hand, some other dramas have been published for reasons.

In the first month of this year, a written lawsuit was filed in Sindh's Supreme Court against the most popular ARY Digital series, Mere Paas Tum Ho. And by portraying her in a negative role, an attempt was made to distort women's society and also to prevent the broadcast of the last episode of this drama.In his context, drama chief Humayun Said and director Nadim Beig and PEMRA were also summoned, but their request to stop the last series was rejected and the case was later rejected.

Remember that the story of the drama "Mere Paas Tum Ho" was written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, who remains in the news because of his controversial statements, and it was the story of a woman who abandoned the wealth of her husband and children. Go with someone else. On August 28 this year, PEMRA issued a press release calling on private channels to reconsider their drama scenarios and align them with "Pakistani values."

The office said the ARY's management had not taken any significant steps and that the drama had subsequently been banned as a last resort.

Regarding the banning of Pakistani dramas by PEMRA, Sultana Siddiki, president of Hum TV, said that PEMRA should not ban any drama on the basis of certain letters or e-mails, but should set up a committee for this purpose.
